Application
StarWrap synthetic underlayment serves as a barrier between roofing materials, providing protection, enhanced performance, and stability to roofing projects. Contractors and roofing installers can use StarWrap products to create a barrier against sound, temperature, and moisture, while enhancing the stability, durability, and performance of finished roofing surfaces.
Coverage: Approx. 950 ft per roll or less, depending on the overlap and roof design.
Use: Under asphalt shingles, tile, or metal roofs.
Preparation: The deck must be dry and free of dust, dirt, loose nails, debris, and other protrusions. Ensure the deck has no voids, damage, or unsupported areas.
Damaged sheathing must be replaced.
